Beach Treasures

Most artists I know, or creative people in general, think about their craft all the time. It happens to me too. I will be out with a camera and taking reference photos for future paintings. Of course, I now have more photos than I could ever use, even if I lived to 102. 

Last week, I was at the beach. I took a walk and picked up anything I felt I could turn into a piece of art. Had I been on the west coast of Florida, it would have been a bag of shells. The photo above are the treasures I found. I will use them as my canvas; a good way to recycle. Check back in a couple of weeks and see what I have done with these "found" objects.
